Anthem covers fertility. mine covers it up to 10k plus 5k fert meds @mermaidmomma1129_

sadly it is not @beebaby. the primary covers stuff just nothing for fertility. sadly.

aw okay, so why not get rid of the primary insurance if it doesn't do anything and make the second insurance primary, if that is possible

i understand what your saying @beebaby but my second insurance is very good and will pay for many treatments that my first won't. they dont base their coverage on the first. I've discussed this with them already.

I was just trying to say that the second insurance doesn't matter if the first is saying no because the first will support the majority of the payment. secondary normally covers the remainder which is probably why the doc is wanted to be paid first

i cleared everything with my second insurance company before i ever made the appointment. they will cover it no matter what the first does @beebaby. the only thing they don't cover @twinpeanut is ivf. so heres hoping we don't have to have that. but the dr offers a payment plan we'll figure it out if it comes down to that

that was 2k out of pocket and anesthesia but everything else was covered

some things arent covered like for mine, freezing and thawing eggs wasnt covered as well as storage

if your first insurance won't pay then the second won't
