I feel like mom's need to stop saying saying things like "oh when you're in labor you'll know, just wait it out." to mom's on here. I feel like you know your body and if things feel off call your OB or go in. I know of 5 people in my circle of friends who went into labor and DIDNT know they were in labor... not everybody is the same! I worry that a mom will feel off and someone will tell her "oh trust me you'll know if your having contraction they're horrible" and then they'll wait it out but should be in the hospital! just remember not everyone's experience is the same. It's better safe than sorry!

yeah I've heard some silly stuff on here. My Midwife tells me you know it's a contraction and not false contractions when the contractions make a pattern, become more intense, and closer together.

@mamalotus exactly!! not everyone experiences it as agonizing pain. One of my close friends was in active labor and didn't know it because she kept being told she'd be in agonizing pain. She waited instead of going in and went to her Dr and her Dr was freaking out because she was like 9 cm lol

I didn't know I was in labor for sure. My contractions had not reached "agonizing" and they were 3-5 min apart.

@levismom I always see people say that on here and I'm like no stahhhp 😕 People have to remember everyone else has a different pain tolerance. My mother in law didn't even feel contractions at all, she thought she was just having back pain but turned out it was back labor lol
