My son has a bad rash from having the runs. I can tell hes in pain cause he wont even let me wipe. I've been putting desitin and just gave him Tylenol. Anything else I can do fo comfort him? Hes asleep now and letting him run without a diaper is a no cause we have carpet.

@b3autifulm3ss ugh I was just at walgreens the other night. I know they say coconut oil works for eveything but didn't think about using it on a rash. He didnt have it until now. Does it matter what kind of Coco oil?

My parents told me to use butt paste, because desitin burns the babies because of the stuff in it. @andrewsmommy

Try rinsing the wipes before you wipe him. Rinse until you don't see anymore bubbles in the water. Wipes contain alcohol that can make the rash burn even more. If it's still too harsh, just try wet soft paper towels for a little bit. I worked at a daycare. It helped a lot.
