Am I the only one who doesn't enjoy breastfeeding? π¬ seems like so many moms love it and feel sad when their baby starts to wean. I'm over here gritting my teeth through it because I can't stand it and I'm counting down the months until it's over. I thought i would love it too, but I don't. I continue to do it because I feel like it's best for my son. Even if it's not best for me.

The first few weeks were awful. Right around 3 weeks was when it was the most painful. I was clenching my jaw and curling my toes in pain whenever he latched. Then all of a sudden around like 5-ish weeks I turned a corner and it didn't hurt anymore. I still have days where he nurses a lot and my nipples get a little sore, but it's become so easy and natural.

I HATED breastfeeding at first. I loved the thought of it but actually doing it was miserable. I was in so much pain and just hated it. But at about 7 weeks I really started liking it. The pain went away and it became relaxing for me.
