we have been together for a year and 7 months. we had our Caroline November 21 and she passed the 23. i saw him cry once ever and that's when we found out the sex. my family said he was crying while I was knocked out from the emergency c section. but I haven't seen him cry once. he doesn't talk about her. the only time he does is when I bring her up. if I'm having one of my episodes he sits and hugs me and tells me to breath, etc. but he never has a moment where he cries or expresses himself. it makes me feel like he doesn't care, but Ik he has to.

Mines the same way. he's very reserved about his emotions (abused as a child) and it's taken me a loooong time to get "used" to it. it still drives me insane because I talk about our son and he just kinda goes "mhm yep" I've just learnt to deal with it, but he can tell now when it gets too much for me and then he'll say something sweet or talk about how excited he is to be a father.
idk how long you guys have been together but I think eventually he will start to share a little bit
