Any moms able to pump with cracked nipples? Ouch! I don't even know how that side got cracked cause I've only been nursing from one side lately and now my LO dr is telling me if I'm not nursing that side to at least pump it to keep my supply up but I can't right now. It won't dry up completely will it?
@ciraclesmiracle, @shananaginsx, @ssdj4, thx ladies I've been using cream and it's helping a little but it still hurts to pump not the actual nipple but the ring around it that pulls when you pump 😩
As others said, nipple balm and keep pumping or you will dry up! Also, put breast milk on your nipples and allow them to "air out" for a while after each pumping. Sorry, I'm sure you're suffering. It's not fun.
make sure you use nipple cream hun. I will completely dry up if you don't pump. Mine dried up quickly with my first.
why is it now all of a sudden no matter what I do my daughter won't latch correctly on the right side? I get milk all over me and I end up pumping that side because she nurses long enough to cause a let down but not much longer (the longest amount of time in the last day has been 6 minutes) she will nurse and latch normally on the left side but not the right.... it's driving me nuts

It's getting real😳😳 the nurse tried to stick my iv on the side of my arm... I screamed and she put it where it is now lol
I was able to hold off until my Dr appt...heading out now. Lol made a quick stop at Wal-Mart to pick up a nursing cami....contractions and all.
Just sitting in the nursery at 4:47am crying. Since we have been supplementing formula due to her losing weight I have to pump. I hate it. I am about ready to quit breastfeeding. I woke up 4 hours after pumping to my breasts engorged, which is what I wanted 24 hours ago. But now it hurts like someone is stabbing my breasts and nipples. My nipples hurt so bad that every suction makes me want to scream. I am bawling my eyes out. I cried for hours today thinking about not being able to nurse her an...
how to keep up
I had my twins 1 week ago and they cant nurse so i have to pump.
Could you have the wrong size of flange(the tube thing)? My friend has really small nipples and the size that came with the pump was too big and was hurting her. When she sized down to a smaller flange it was much better. The flange that comes with the pump is just an average size--you can get ones that are bigger or smaller to suit you.
