I believe it's a German food, but I grew up in Russian eating it, called "golubtsi" (cabbage rolls) glad you like it!

@yanald90, there was a video recipe on FB that was on my feed. It looks edible delicious so I made it. I've made it about 3 times now. It's become one of my favorites too.
