Have any ladies had high blood pressure before pregnancy and throughout pregnancy and had to be induced? Can you share your experience on that. I will have to be induced at 39 weeks so just wanted some feedback on the subject. Thanks ladies!!
@towens921 was it all of the sudden you had to be induced or did you know at 34 weeks you would have to he induced due to the preeclampsia?
I guess I am just trying to wrap my head around needing to be induced. I've always been told it hurts cause you are forcing labor and I just don't want to end up with complications or needing a c-section. That scares me the most honestly.
thank you ladies! @valentinasmommy was your baby fine after being induced at 38 weeks? A good weight?
I had high bp during pregnancy and was induced at 38 weeks.
I didn't have any problems neither did my baby. But my body was not reactioning to any of the meds or the balloon or the cervadil and I was 4 days at 4cm, they broked my water and spent over 24 hours still and didnt do anything to me. I almost had to get a c section done. But last minute I went from 5cm to 10cm. The pushing was easier and at the end everything was worth it.
I was induced because of my high BP it is dangerous to baby and us. I had to be put on magnesium with My 34 weeker so I was induced for a week before I had him which was rough because they counteract with each other and it was not until they broke my water I actually went into labor. He was born with complications and had to be in the NICU now with my 36 weeker I did not have any issues. I was induced but it was quick and he was fine no complications.
Did they have to induce you because of the high blood pressure and how did the high bp affect you during labor?
I didn't have high blood pressure before but I did develop Preeclampsia and had to be induced at 34weeks
that is great! @valentinasmommy
