Don't know what I want to eat. Taste buds everywhere.
- Sonics cheeseburger
- Wendy's spicy chicken combo
- boiled peanuts (yes I'm country)
- nestle drumstick with nuts
- anything else I see or can think of
ya I grab em from Walmart once in awhile but nothing is the same as them being fresh from the farmers market. I'm sure sometime in the next yr or 2 we will b goin down south if not just making a rd trip to grab me peanuts and peaches. I know sounds really pathetic but nothing is as good as fresh @nolans1stlove
@lost041, I dated a guy from the north and realized all the good things that were missing up in Ohio. Just a shame. You can get them in a can at the store now. Just easy peasy! You have to get a can when you come back down south at some point.
@newlywedmama21, he just won't get it and it's okay. Just don't stop us! Lol! Comfort snack! And when that juice pops out the shell, OMG! Amazing!
I only wish I could find some boiled peanuts here in Ohio. I would b in heaven. Man the struggle of loving southern food and not being able to get it really up north
me too! hubby doesn't understand. ..he's like "you're eating hot nuts?? cooked nuts??"....yea its a southern thing babe... (he's Caribbean)
@heera, just the encouragement I needed! Thanks. Headed to all those places now
Yes! You are so correct. I love eating them at the annual fair! That and a corn dog from "the corn dog man". Omg! Heaven sent at the very beginning of. November every year. I missed it this year but I won't next year! Oh yea the peaches are great in the south and the plums straight from someone's backyard! Fresh is always better! So true! @lost041
