Finally pumped since being out the hospital. I'm excited! Breast were hurting today so I know I needed to finally start pumping. Going to give him the breast milk when he wakes up to see how he takes it

Is it normal for a newborn to cluster feed? My son is 4 days old, and he's eating in between normal feeding schedule.

Looking at this precious face makes cat naps worth it! He is just too stinking cute!

Only home for one night then headed to my hometown for a few weeks. Let see how tonight goes.

My baby sleeps like an old man with his mouth open. He's been an arm baby today because of his aunts. So he's sleeping in my arms tonight. After this diaper change and bottle, he's going back in the clear bassinet here at the hospital. I've gotta get at least 2 hrs of sleep with him tonight

Had to give my son formula to supplement because he's been in the world 24 hours and hasn't successfully gotten any of my colostrum. And he's been sleeping most of the day with all the tests and stuff hey have been performing on him (normal newborn tests, etc). Felt defeated but I still have to pump to try and get milk going.

Happy to say Nolan entered the world at 6:45pm today weighting 6lb 10oz and 19inches long. I'm so in love with him! He's my world and we have already smiled and laughed believe it or not. He's funny already like me!

2cm! Doctor broke my water. Weird feeling to lay down with water leaking out.

Haven't progressed since earlier today. I hope bouncing on this birthing ball helps me progress along with this pitocin. Contractions have been consistent (it seems). I hope the next time they check me that I have progressed. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

This clear liquid diet is not cool! Especially when all you see is food commercials and your room is next to the break room! Jesus be a chicken sandwich!
