My 6 month old has gotten sick every month for the past 3 months and it last a week. It seems like a cold but I'm worried bc it keeps coming back every month. Stuffy nose and fussy at night and wakes up every hour bc he can't breathe. I have sucked out his nose, given him saline drops, and have a humidifier. Could it be allergies to something like my milk?? HELP!!

Also, make sure you are cleaning out the filters on your humidifier. Otherwise you could be circulating the same bacteria
Thank you! I figured it was just a cold but made me nervous that it is constantly coming back every 3 weeks! He has an appointment Friday and I'll ask about those! @erinflaherty818
This is all pretty normal! As your ped if he can prescribe you a low dose of loratadine. It's basically Claritin, but it will relieve many of those symptoms at night that keep them awake. Also, ZarBees Baby works well for drying out all the mucus.
