So i was out having lunch with my sister. I had the baby with me. It was time for her to eat. So I was getting her bottle ready and the lady at the next table says " poor baby getting that toxic mix of milk" I turned and said excuse me"she continued to say " I can't believe you young new mothers not give it your baby nature milk from your body" I stopped her in her tracks. I told her "lady 1 this is not my first child I have an 8 year old and thank u for calling me young. What I giving my baby is my business. Yes she was breastfed for two months and now is she on formula. But I deserve the same respect mothers that breastfeed there baby want. I shouldn't be shamed for my choice. My baby is healthy in every way so go somewhere with your rude noisy ass". 💁🏼 the nerve

I try to breastfeed my daughter & I was only able to give her 2months also. It was very hard for me to accept the fact I couldn't do more ( she wouldn't latch and didn't have enough milk ) everyone in my family would always call me out because I was formula feeding but sometimes we get shxt from other people who aren't even aware of how some of us want to breastfeed but aren't able too. It sucks how our own kind ( woman ) can put each other on the spot for our decisions. I feel you girl and you said it right !

its not something everybody Can or wants to do so ppl shouldn't act like that especially if it's not even their business to begin with.

How would she even know it wasn't breastmilk? I pump and bring a bottle when I go out sometimes.
