@bria, What's first foods? @poozie813445 I'm not too worried, especially since he's not the only baby that eats this much! I think he's just a hungry chubby baby :)

my first drank 6oz rice bottles at 3wks, my 2nd drank 8oz rice bottles at 2 1/2 wks, my 3rd drank 6oz bottles at a month, and my last drank almost 2oz bottles before we even left the hospital lol it all depends on the baby, I say, if they're hungry Feed Them! :) all 4 of mine are healthy and happy :) if you feel nervous about it then def talk to your Dr, otherwise just use your motherly instincts and do as you see fit ❤

My daughter eats a lot. I always always offer her a bottle. Like what if she's thirsty? Lol. I also started first foods

@kristen__xzy, I'll have to get him checked for reflux, but I don't think he's showing any signs of it. I will look into that though! My MIL told me about the baby oatmeal too, she said in her day they gave their kids a spoon full starting at 2 weeks old! I don't know about all that haha but it's just crazy to think how differently people use to do things back in the day

he could be hitting a growth spurt :) has he been checked for reflux though? sometimes they eat a lot with reflux because it helps them feel better. if not, then your babe is just hungry so let him eat :D I formula fed my daughter and formula never filled her up. she was drinking over 40 Oz by 16 weeks old and we started giving her baby oatmeal by spoon once a,day and that helped but we spoke to our pedi first and she showed signs of readiness.

@kittysoftpawz, That's what I said! If he's hungry, I'm going to feed him! And I know he's hungry because I can tell by his cry & they always say I sure sign that your overfeeding is they spit up a lot & he hardly ever spits up! I think we just got ourselves some fat babies 😂😂

@bria, I'd say because he's already almost in 3-6 month clothes 😂 I didn't worry about it much until my friend who had a baby 2 weeks before me told me her daughter only eats 3 oz every 4 hours. I think he's just going to be my chubby baby though lol

😂 my daughter is going through that now! She is going to be 2 months on the 23rd and she drinks 4-6 oz i told the peds dr but he wants me to hold back and with a baby that's impossible im not going to let her cry hungry

Could just be he's got a good appetite ... I wouldn't worry too much
