ladies. who have a newborn 1 month old how much are they eating

@girlmom. oh ok ,dang cuz i figured out how to get my bby to sleep in the bassinet lol took me 2 weeks lol i had to put a pillow under the bassinet pad . lol thats all it took

@mommytonayeliz I'm waiting till one month to get him out of my bed 😂 I made the mistake of letting my older son sleep with us and it was hell. Just keep in mind that any time a growth spurt is approaching they will be fussier and want to eat more frequently and more in general.. Mine is going to be a month old in 3 days and he is cluster feeding like crazy except at night, hell go a while without eating for a stretch but during the day its game on. Hes eating around 3-4oz each feeding 😫 my poor boobs.

@girlmom. oh yeah i feel u ,i swaddle when she has her fits lol my daughter slwpt with us 2 weekz lol she now sleeps in her bassinet lol.i aint sjaring my bed

@mommytonayeliz, same with my girl but swaddling helps her sleep in her own bed. Not gunna sleep with mama forever 😂

@girlmom. yeah thats what i do cuz she likws to eat to fast so i stop every lil bit so she can burp. girl my baby has no problem sleeping swaddled or not lmaooo shes just like me i swear she sleeps however whenever

@mommytonayeliz, burping every oz helps so much! And I swaddle after- helps them sleep better!

@mommytonayeliz Cluster feeding. As someone else suggested, frequent burping and keep her upright but it doesnt suggest she has any reflux issues. The first 3 months babies are regulating their digestive systems and getting to know/used to how everything works. They eat more frequently/fuss more around the time of their growth spurts, which for your daughter is now at 4 weeks and will be again at 6 weeks.

My 3 week old is eating 4oz every 3 hours

@mommytonayeliz, if your gut starts to tell you something is wrong, talk to her pedi about reflux. I’ve heard that sometimes when babies keep eating they may have that issue

@mommytonayeliz, yup. Sometimes they cluster feed. I have never formula fed. Sometimes they aren’t hungry tho, sometimes they’re having reflux issues. So make sure she isn’t laying down right after eating and you’re spending a lot of time burping her

@phoebesmommy really ? i am formula feeding now and she eats evey 2 hours ,if not shes a fussy mess
