So my son is 5 years old and he's very behind on knowing his ABC's and numbers and also writing his name. I don't know what to do because he starts kinder next month.

@beebaby I'm going to see if one of the female doctors can help everytime I take my son it's his actual Dr that tells me it's just his age.
Got ya. Well I wouldn't accept it. I'm sorry but your son's education is important and if he is having trouble or is being mis diagnosed. I would pay for another doctor to assess him to make sure. Don't want to many years to pass where you could have done something and now you can't.

@beebaby his Medicaid won't let me see another Dr just the 4 doctors they have at the office we go too.

@beebaby that's what I tried to talk to his doctors about but they tell me they cant really say cause he's only 5

For kinder they have to know how to write thier name, know the ABCs and know how to count...
I've seen some commercials about abcmouse.com. Maybe check that out and see if that helps. You could also do some flash cards
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Don't know if I should be worried or not.. But my husband has his ex girlfriend (baby mama) on his search list on Facebook.. I don't know what to think..
so my boyfriend and I live with his parents with out almost 2 week old son... his parents and his mom always want to hold him like all day everyday and get mad when I take him upstairs in our room... I'm not breast feeding... my question is with me not breastfeeding and his mom constantly holding him will he know I'm his mom? that's my biggest fear... my son not knowing who I am and thinking she's his mom.

My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
