How old was your newborn when you first started taking them out of the house?
Took my son out right away. He's never been sick. He loves to be outside and look at everything. I agree with everyone else that says it helps/ good for your children to be outside to build up there immune system
Fresh air and exposing them to different sounds/sights is good for baby's development. I only worry about people touching baby--that's the most likely way for them to get sick
my son was out the day we left the hospital. having your children outside actually helps them to build an immune system. I didn't wait the whole six weeks thing and my son who is now 18 months old has been sick maybe 3 times.
I started taking Harper out right away. Not every often but at least 1-2 times a week
He was bundled up good, blanket, sweater beanie gloves and a blanket over his carseat but nope still got sick.
I took my son out at 1 month for santa pics and he got a cold for 2 weeks.
Nope none of my kids got sick. Ima firm believer in exposing my children to germs to help build their immune system. My daughter will be 2 years old and has only ever had small colds (runny nose and a cough) never ever had she been seriously sick. My new born I took her out the day we left the hospital. I just made sure she was bundled up
same day we left the hospital. .just cary wet ones and hand sanitizer. .and keep baby covered in the carseat
2 weeks
