Do any of you lack family support? Neither if my brothers have a babysitter bc my mom always watched their kids. After having my son (8mo now) she's come over maybe twice and both times told me to hire help! I don't expect anything from her I'm just surprised at the difference in treatment btw my baby and my two brothers kids. When I ask her if we can hang out she's always busy watching the other kids which are 9, 6 and 4. Doesn't seem fair and I don't feel supported. How wud u handle this situation?

That's terrible to hear. It seems to be the norm for moms it feels. They treat their daughters differently than their sons :( my mom does the same sh*t! Just hang in there. It's hard cus of course when my sister confronts her about it, she's never wrong and the conversation gets nowhere. Otherwise, you can try and talk to her face to face and or get your brother's pov and ask him to help. My bro did, he said it seemed as though she treated my sisters son differently than his kids. So what of they live further than actually living with her grandson ♡ good luck!
My mom watches my sisters two sons all week nd rarely watches my daughter cause she gets overwhelmed with the boys. And on weekends if I ask her to watch my daughter she always says no. But I'm a bit understanding the weekends is her only time off for herself away from kids. I can't lie I do feel a way sometimes but then again it's my kid not hers
