Any Mommies here that have or plan on getting extended rear facing car seats? Any one have any recommendations on brands? Pros and cons? It won't be long before Karii is too big for his car seat and I'm thinking about doing extended rear facing, ive heard it's a lot safer!
Awesome! I've only met a few others, so it's definitely cool!
Also I'm anti-vax as well- so cool to see someone else on here who is! 🤗
I'll definitely take a look at that brand! I love to babywear as well so it sounds perfect! Thank you! @motherlotus
The con about getting a convertible is you can't hold it so you have to take baby out every time, personally I don't mind that because I babywear but a lot of parents like to carry baby in the seat! Pros, it grows with baby so you won't need to buy another seat!
ERF is a lot safer. Until age 3-4 :) You're doing awesome! I use a Graco convertible I believe it's the size4me 65! It's fantastic!

Why Your Kid Should Be In A Rear-Facing Car Seat As Long As Possible

How old were your babies when you swapped them from a infant seat to a rear facing convertible car seat?
So, in IL you now have to leave your child rear facing until two years of age, my question is do any of you mommies know a good car seat that starts as rear facing but can transition to front facing? I am going to need to get a new car seat before long but I was hoping to be able to turn her front facing at a year old and now that that is out of the question, I have to figure something out.
I can’t wait to put my son forward facing in his car seat 👌🏼four more days
Do you have to rear face the car seat when they're new borns?
I'll check it out! Thanks! @meilin91
