So at 33 weeks my ultra sound estimated that baby girl already weighed 6 pounds and 1 oz. I've been doing NSTs once a week because she is large for her gestational age. Now I'm 37 weeks.
And when I say I'm ready... I mean I'm ready! I wonder how much weight she has gained since my 33 week ultra sound. Doctor estimated she's going to be around 10 pounds. Helppppp me my hips are turning to powder it feels like lol. I know everyone says let your baby stay in for as long as possible and yea I'm not forcing her out at all... just venting so please don't tell me how babies benefit from the full 40 weeks. Just ready to have my baby in my arms and my body back! :)
@jazmin805, really?! Awwww thank you! That seriously means soooo much to me. It's good to hear it :)
hope you dont think im weird but you look just so beautiful and cute in the picture
wow :) gokd luck my friend had her baby almost 11lb she was sooo chubby it was so cute my son was 5.5 lb at an ultrasound. .a week later he was born 6lb so their accirate mkst of the time..he is exactly 14 days younger tgan my friends daughter amd he look sooo small next to her it was cute now their the same size tho
@j8paqu, I've had two c-sections, unfortunately. Since I've really really wanted a vbac with my second and my GD was only mild, my doc let me go over my due date 4 days. I was dilated 2 cm and had contractions according to the machine. But knowing the risks of unsuccessful induction, I opted out the induction and we did another c-section. It sucked and I never got the birth I wanted but I had my babies safe and sound. Also my second, his cord was wrapped around his neck, so it would've most likely ended in a c-sec anyways
@bri28, oh wow!!! That's a BIG difference! My doctor already offered me a c section and I said no because of risking what you just said! I wouldn't want to go through that and her come out average size ya know? Did they offer that to you?
My doctor thought my baby would be 9-10 lbs from the ultrasounds and me having mild gestational diabetes. Came at 7lbs 11oz
@jessijane84, the NSTs really aren't bad! Take advantage of the popsicles and apple juice they offer you lol! I try and schedule my nst as close as possible to my doctors appointment so I can go straight from nst to the appointment too! But you're totally right! Get it together ppl! Lol
@ashley2371, @beebaby @jessijane84 😍 you ladies are too sweet! You're going to make me cry!
My ultrasound was accurate. He weighed 7.4 in the ultrasound and was 7.6 at birth
Agreed!! You do look GREAT!! Also at my 30wk appointment they told me my boy is at 3lbs 6oz but that could be off by a pound either way!! Im like get ur ish together ultrasound tech!! A pound is a lot when we're talking about a human inside of our body's!! I have to start nst twice a wk on monday 😐 not looking forward to them. Hopefully i can pull it all off with as much grace as you are 💖
Such a cute pic!! Ultrasounds can be off by even a pound. For my sister they were off my two pounds.. would they induce you at 38 weeks? I know some docs will do that if they think the baby might be too large.. at least at 39 weeks they should!!
@jazmin805, awww she's so cute! I kinda like them at that size more because I don't feel like they're as delicate lol!
