My birth story one week later brace yourself a pretty long story for a 2day process🙃
I arrived at the hospital @7pm to be induced I was only a fingertip dilated. They started by applying this cervix softener that had to be applied every 4 hours. By midnight they checked I was 1 1/2cm. Got checked again at 430am still 1 1/2. It's now Sunday morning and I get checked again now I'm at 2cm. All this time I'm feeling stronger contraction but I can handle them pretty well. I get on a yoga ball because it was more comfortable. Sunday afternoon they applied some more cervix softener. Checked me again around 4pm I was 2 1/2cm. Then they told me the will apply it one last time they wanted me to be at a 4 or 5 before they started pitocin. I got checked again @8pm Sunday I dilated to 3cm😒 ugh so fustrating. Btw these checks and cervix softer they used hurt so bad I hated I felt like they were digging out my insides😖. Next they talked to me about applying this balloon that would help dilate me to a 4 or 5. They promised me it wouldn't be as bad as the cervix softener so I agreed to it. Boy were they wrong. I asked for the Nubian seeing that the balloon will start stronger contraction for me hoping I can handle it a little better. The balloon insertion was sooooooooooo painful I saw all this blood on the doctors hand. They came in with the Nubian and said they are going to start the pitocin on low to help move things along. When they applied it I started having severe contraction immediately after the balloon insertion. I was screaming 😫😖😤😭😵😩. I was in horrendous pain. The Nubian wasn't working and the nurse tried to calm me down I was yelling please give me the epidural pleeeeaaaasssseeee!!!!!! They gave it to me finally I was pain free but extremely doped up so trying to sleep was uncomfortable I couldn't feel my legs. At 2am mon. the nurse came to check the balloon it was still in. So she put a peanut shaped yoga ball between my legs. By 430 am they checked the balloon came out I was 5cm dilated. By 7 am the nurse came to check I was hoping to be at least 8cm. But I was fully dilated to a 10😀. The doc said the baby was still a little far up so to wait for her to come down some. They came back in 8am Monday its time to push😁😃 I pushed and pushed so hard but I couldn't feel anything didn't know what I was doing because of the epidural. 9am still pushing they decided to stop the epidural so I can feel contraction I was scared because that pain😭😭 but I wanted to have my baby without a c section. So I let them stop the epidural. By 1032am Monday October 17, 2016 my princess arrived😍😍😍 they were digging and pulling and I got 4 stitches on my labia. They were taking so long I started feeding my baby she latched😊. They were still down there finally they were done😊 all of a sudden I got this excruciating pain😫😱😭 down there I screamed I couldn't take it turns out I got a hernia from pushing so they gave me Percocet for the pain it was so bad. I couldn't finish bonding and feeding my baby I was in pain. Any way my baby was perfect and healthy the recovery sucked but I'm better now and my daughter was soooooo worth it💞💖💝 and it's finally over😴
P.s no one knew when and how my water broke.
