💤on a topic of sleep... The only way our girl will settle for sleep now is during feeds or being comforted by us. Nothing else works. I think we are done with swaddling, I had a glimmer of hope that she'll take her paci back but no. We wanted to start to teach her to fall asleep by herself but as soon as she goes in the crib - she start crying and will not settle by herself. So no CIO for us at this point. It's distressing for me to see and hear my baby cry like that, my mental health has been really bad so I think I'll go with the flow for now. Happy comforted baby = happy mama🙏

P.S: got 8.5 hours of sleep last night.

@pinkfulskies, yes we use a stroller to help with sleep. It works but doesn't solve the issue of day naps xD

you could always use the car seat for day naps or stroller. it's what I do if I have to get stuff done. other wise my son naps on me.

@tlistboom, haha awe! Yeah ours is 14 lbs right now.. No need for heavy weights, just get the baby xD

hahaha. yeah. I hear ya. My mother inlaw already can't walk around with her .. and sees not even that heavy.

I don't think she gets it. I swear sometimes I just need to renew my policy to not look at the comments in Facebook. I never used to. I don't know why I started. But the ignorance is real.

Good'Morning Ladies! Has anyones baby just being very fussy and you don't even know what it could be anymore sense i try everything already & this past days she is just very fussy!!😞😖😖😩 I use to just leave her in her swing she will be happy & fall to sleep now i use her Bouncy,Swing & Nothing she will be there for a bit then start crying she has been crying a lot lately and don't know what it could be anymore i try to give a warm bath & nothing either just don't know anymore💁😨😟

Opinions on crying it out?

Opinions on crying it out? My baby is 8 1/2 months old. I've tried the no tears method and it worked a couple times but now it doesn't anymore. I do squats while holding her and rock her (21 lbs baby) for over an hour each nap all for nothing. My friend said she did cry it out and by the 3rd day her baby would only cry 5 minutes and now he's totally fine with sleeping in the crib. Opinions please? I am the only one who actually raises my kid. My fiancé does not help and I have no family that helps. So it is very hard on me. Thank you Edit: because clearly some of the women on here think I'm a monster. I am an EMT. When I go back to work, I will be gone 24 hours at a time. My daughter is almost 9 months old and cries every minute she is not in my arms. As much as I want to comfort her every second of the day, I can't. And it's better I get her used to sleeping on her own now, than not letting her cry and all of a sudden mommys gone for 24 hours at a time and she completely loses it and I can't just get off work to comfort her.

Experienced mothers! I need help! First of let me say I am completely against crying it out. Okay my LO is 4 months old now and barely sleeps. During the day she sleeps between 30 minutes and 3 hours. Never all at once she will sleep for around 10 minutes and then start crying. The will be happy when she wakes up for maybe 15 minutes and then she gets super fussy and I know it has to be because shes tired. But she just wont stay asleep! I have tried everything I can think of walking around, singing to her, laying with her everything i can think of and she will fall asleep but not for long. Even at night she fights sleep. I need heeeeelp. I cant constantly be holding her I need to be able to do things with my day.
