when i first applied for food stamp i put on my application that my bf was my friend and that i lived with him andbi was paying him rent. i started working as a babysitter and my income was too high so i no longer was receiving food stamp. now im pregnant and my bf dont want for me to apply for food stamp again because he thinks they'll put him on child support & idk what to tell them about my "friend" being my bf now. HELPPP!!

its Medicaid that they do child support and its after baby is born
@liam1216 I did my application online and submitted it. then they will send you some paperwork in the mail
i would just fill out the application and send it in. lets see what happens @reyesmomma
@liam1216 well he's incorrect I know for a fact they will not charge him for child support if you get food stamps.
thats what im preventing, i dont want to lie because i know its fraud. but ws really need the food stamp and my bf just dont want for me to apply , and i going to be off work for 3 months and he's the only one that would be bringing money to the table. im just trying to help but he's insisting @reyesmomma
@liam1216 don't be dishonest it's fraud. and if they find out they will go after you.
he won't get charged child support if you get food assistance the only time they charged him for child support is with cash assistance I have called DSHS and personally talk to them about this matter myself because I didn't want them going after my man.
I agree w @jadasmommy I'm having the same problem . I'm unemployed n I put I live with a friend but my unemployment and his salary is to much so I'm moving and I'm gonna re apply and say he doesn't think he's the father he left me & see if that works lol
