I know you're not supposed to..so please nothing negative. But has anyone put a pillow in their child's crib and your child has slept better? My son seems to like my pillows so I was thinking of putting one in there so he still felt like he's in my bed.

I heard that if you lay on their sheets or put it against your body for a while it gets your scent and that seems to make babies sleep better if they usually sleep with you

I really really would not. Especially a pillow of all items :/

I wouldn't until baby can lift and turn their head. As well as roll over both ways. Otherwise it can be a suffocation hazard

Maybe purchase a wedge to have him on a incline

@santistevanmommie, well he can roll and hold his head up and everything. He's 5 months. @adensmommy he has acid reflux so I wanted to elevate but he always ends up moving to the flat side. But he always sleeps soundly on pillows when he's napping or sleeping in my bed. So this way he feels like he's with me and also elevated

I'm not being negative so please don't take this that way. Personally, the risk outweighs the benefit here. While it's not likely, it definitely takes the possibility of something happening to a whole new level. It's definitely up to you, but I wouldn't.

@i suggested no for the safety but I see how you need something for him so I second a wedge for the mattress:they sell them everywhere or you can make your own and this way you don't have to worry. But yes the risk is high children die every year with objects in their cribs it's a horribly high number.
