When did you...

let your lo sleep with a pillow? My dd is 13 months old and my SO has been putting her down for naps with a pillow. He's off on Tuesdays and Fridays so while I work he's been doing this (I was unaware). Well today we were both home and she was getting tired so he took her to her room for a nap. When I went to check on her I saw she was sleeping on a pillow he gave her. She does fine with it obviously but it just seems so early. Anyone else start using a pillow this early?

My Dd is 15 months and she occasionally sleep on a pillow. Most of the time she doesn't as she moves way too much.

DS started using one when he started to crawl, I think. We'd put it under his bed sheets though so he couldn't pull it up on his face or anything. He's two now and uses it above sheets for a few months now.

Introduced the pillow at 2.5. He didn't start using it until 3

With all 3 of my kids since they were born we co slept so they had their own pillow. Now they can't sleep without one and blankets. They're 5 3 & 17 months

My toddler is almost 2.5 and still no pillow, it messes with their alignment. I work for a chiropractor even adults sleep wrong on pillows lol we are waiting to introduce the pillow

She started using it around 9 months but she was in bed with us

My 2.5 year old still doesn't have a pillow. Not because I don't want her to have one. I just don't think she needs it, so I never thought to give her one.

Before 12 months. He wouldn't sleep well without one.

He's now 17 months old and has two pillows as he has a double bed.

Only during naps because he sleeps in the living room (he won't nap in his crib). Been this way since he was close to 1. But he's always been supervised

My son has pretty much always broken the rules since about 5 months. He would not fall asleep being held and wanted a bottle to fall asleep to. So we'd put his boppy on the ground and set him up with a bottle. So he'd basically fall asleep on a pillow then we'd move him to his crib. He also wanted his blanket after we stopped swaddling. He kept pulling it up on his face so we got him a loosely quilted blanket so it never actually covered his nose or mouth.

He's 15 months now and sleeps with a pillow and blanket. Been a regular thing for about 2 months now.

Edit: been a regular thing meaning we stopped removing the items and let him sleep throughout the night with them. So if you're not comfortable falling asleep and not being able to supervise your LO using it then just remove it once they're actually asleep if you think it won't wake them!

I just started giving him a pillow now that we're transitioning to a toddler bed. He's 2.5.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Dad's FB Video!! Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
