my son measured 3 weeks behind up until I hit 35 weeks, babies grow a lot at the very end so try not to worry

they said the same about my daughter as far as measurements. she measured on track up until I was like 34 weeks, then she was falling behind. they did two NST scans but I also had signs of pre-hypertension so they induced me early. they told me at 36 weeks and 3 days that I was going to be induced the following week. that same day I had one NST scan, then a few days later had the second one. the following day I was being induced. if you aren't showing signs of anything else other than low birth weight, I'd say they'll just do those NST scans to monitor is all. 🤗

@jessicarose0602, did they want to monitor you twice a week? Or did they want to do any stress test? I don't want to worry, but the way they acted at the apt just has me questioning wether I should or not. They said something about her belly and her head not measuring up or something like that.

don't worry. my baby girl measured small at 36 weeks. the ultrasound tech said she only weighed about 5 lbs 7 oz. I had her at 37 weeks 4 days and she actually only weighed 5 lbs 1 oz. she was really small but my daughter was really healthy and came home 2 days after I had her. try not to stress mama!! I know how scary it can be though to hear this kind of news.

dont be worried yet...they'll do everything they need to to ensure ur babys health. it doesn't mean bad things, they are just taking precautions
