Hi everyone,

A lot of you know that I'm experiencing quite heavy bright red bleeding today and that I went a&e and later had a scan. Just wanted to update you all on how things went.

I'm happy to say the doctor was able to see the yolk sac, fetal pole and heart beat and the baby measured spot on! He showed me the womb and assured me that the bleeding wasn't coming from there and that the cervix was closed. He also mentioned that bleeding was common with ivf pregnancies and that, that is what the crinone gel (progesterone) was prescribed for.

I literally cried as soon as he showed me the heartbeat. I can't tell you in words how relieved and grateful I am.
