Ladies I have a question... my little boy is 4 weeks old and I'm exclusively breastfeeding. His feeding doesn't seem to have slowed down at all. he feeds from 10 to 15 times in a 24 hour period, and anything from 5 to 25 minutes per feed. He has one boob per feed in the hope he gets the thicker milk at the end. Does this seem excessive? I'm exhausted feeding every hour to two hours. Still waiting to be released from hospital :-( have been waiting over an hour for someone to show me how to use an electric breast pump. I've had troubles with my left breast and now it's so sore and solid poor baby can't release it anyway! I've had a hot shower which released some, and hand expressed a bit, but it's still solid! Any tips??

I'm very proud to announce the birth of our little boy, Jacob Thomas M, weighing 8lbs 8oz, delivered by cesarean at 40+12. An eventful labour which I'm happy to share but I don't want to scare anyone 🙈 I'm exhausted and still a little overwhelmed, but so happy he's finally here.

Had a growth scan today as we are now 1 week overdue and midwives measurements were off. I have a giant baby. It's gone from being small and fine, to only just within my scale! Sweep booked for 12.30 today, a bit nervous. Do they hurt? What happens if it doesn't work and baby goes over my scale?

I'm pretty sure I've been getting strong Braxton hicks this afternoon and it's nothing to worry about... but I've started getting back ache, and the tightening sensation across the middle of bump didn't ease up when I went for a walk. Just went to the bathroom at work and after doing my business randomly just stood and stared at my reflection. I suddenly felt like my bump is massive, protruding out loads, and it made me get a lump in my throat and well up!! Definitely think I'm overtired and ready to meet this little one now. Hopefully only 3 weeks to go 💛

Had to have a growth scan today as the MW measured baby too big. Measurements today were spot on 😍 We don't know the sex, and they managed to show us the scan without revealing, but any guesses based on skull theory? 😊
