my one boob looks like its getting a bruise but its kind pinkish. and it hurts way more then the other side when I nurse. is it a bruise or do you think I'm getting infected or doing something wrong? shell be a week old tomorrow.

I had tenderness while nursing. she was beginning to not open as wide
@lexij, you can always call your doctor! are you sure she's completely emptying? you don't feel any hard spots?
@mrsgower, I feel fine other wise. with my first I got mastitis and it was a nightmare. I feel nothing like that. I just worry to much. I'll wait a couple days. if it gets worse I'll call my Dr.
you can also put a warm compress on it before you nurse. if you get a fever with it go to the doctor because then it's mastitis.
it only hurts when I nurse her though. not all the time. and my boob gets soft after she nurses or I pump.
clogged duct! when you nurse start on the side that hurts! she's your best weapon to unclog it. I've had a few of them!
@mrsgower, nope. no hard spots at all. yesterday I had one on the other side. I have to hand express in the shower, nurse her, and rub it out as I pumped before it ft better but I don't feel anything in either boob now. 😞
