did anyone NOT go on birth control after having their baby? I don't plan on having another for at least a year, but I really dislike birth control and I know most doctors push for it?
I'm happy I'm not the only one that feels this way 😂 I figure we've used the pull out method for this long it worked until we tried for a baby, so why couldn't we just go bsck to doing it. @kaseylyn
Me and husband have used the pull out method for 8 years and only got pregnant when we decided to. I think as some of the other girls have said if you just track your ovulation periods you will be just fine. That's what I did when I wanted to get pregnant so it should work vice versa! To me birth control is just not natural! I haven't used it since I was in my teens and I hated it, it gave me horrible side effects! And condoms just aren't happening with my husband lol so the pull out method is what works best!
Be careful. You can get pregnant immediately after having another baby. Use condoms
just hold your ground. they can't force you to be on birth control
yea I'm scared that they'll try to be rude or convince me otherwise because they "know best" @babizehm16
I didn't. we use the pull out method along with tracking my fertile days and not well at least try not to have sex around then. I hated what hormones did to my body. be prepared to listen to drs talking down on you after you have your baby. one dr was like you know it only takes one time....I'm like yeah I know how babies are made. almost 7 months in but if we got pregnant again it wouldn't be the end of the world either. their are worst things in life
lol @jsco exactly!! Idk why they think it will?? Maybe they just hope we keep it and hubby makes us get it 😂
that's also exactly what I'm thinking lol I'm so against almost every form of birth control and I don't even want to think about going on it. we'll just have to be more "careful" and he'll have to get back into the routine 😂😂 @mrs.n2014
Yeah I use NFP(natural family planning) I track ovulation and stuff so you don't have to be on birth control to prevent pregnancy. Just know your body and go from there. We also used the spermicide vaginal strips that you get from Walmart.
omg I would do the same I think lol.. I said no, a prescription isn't going to make me change my mind @cupcakemomma
😂😂 I mean me and my hubby have been having sex without condoms or birth control for almost 3 years and we're pregnant now because it was planned. so I think we did ok lol @halsey11
Granted I have 5 children now, but all were planned so then there's that lol
I got the stupid depo shot with my first and never again. I hate taking a pill they're the worst so I'm thinking about an iud even though I won't be sexually active for awhile
I've used birth control for 3 months after my first child was born. It didn't work for me. I haven't used it since.
@jsco, of course he did. He wrote me a prescription after I told him I wasn't going to use it. He still gave it to me and I walked out and asked one of the desk people to put it through a shredder. I don't play 😂
I didn't and my kids are 18 months apart 🙃
did the dr give you any shit about it? @cupcakemomma
I didn't because I knew I wouldn't really have as much sex, plus I dislike BC. Also, if we do have sex we just use a condom because we don't want another baby right now.
I been off my birth control pills since April this year
sooo i have my 6 week pp appointment soon....i have never been on birth control nor do i know anything about the different kinds of birth control....can yall help me out?
I have PCOS & I don't get why I have to take birth control & metformin at the same time? isn't birth control supposed to stop you from ovulating & metformin is supposed to help you ovulate? This is so frustrating. I just want to be able to get pregnant..
Any moms with the iud birth control?
I have some questions.
All mommas on birth control! what birth control are you using , I don't know what to choose after the baby is born. I've never really been on birth control. I definitely don't want anything that can cause complications, weight gain and mood swings! thanks in advance!!
@jsco, exactly!!! We gotta do what works best for us! We know our bodies better than anyone so if we think it's the best choice then it probably is! Lol! Our doctor asked us about birth control and were like we're just going to go back to what we were doing! Lol!! She's like ok that's fine it's your choice! So I was glad she didn't try and argue with me.
