My son screams in his car seat and it makes things very stressful on drives. Honestly if you heard him it seems like he's being murdered. He even stops breathing some times. I caved and bought him an iPad mini at Walmart today. So he could watch videos of his favorite cartoon while in the car. I genuinely don't want him to get it more than on a need basis. But does anyone else have any apps or games for kids?

Oh yup my son hates sitting still too. Have you tried snacks?
@andrewsmommy, I just bought him a bigger car seat. I always make sure he's secured correctly but not pinched in anyway. I was thinking maybe he gets car sick or just wants to play? He doesn't like sitting still.
the only this is it doesn't work with the fisher price apps because they are Interactive

Maybe his car seat is uncomfortable? We had to get a new one cause he would just cry and cry. We found it that it was getting too small and he wasn't comfortable. He does cry less now. I just think the problem with the ipad is the fact their gonna learn to lock button and how to do it. Then he'll get frustrated because its off
oh see if iTunes sells a app called touch lock it's keeps your baby from cutting off the video or game
@akeelah_naomi_mommy, I'll have to check out the fisher price apps. So far he has Netflix and a few downloaded episodes of his shows lol. @andrewsmommy I sit in the back with my son too and he still screams horribly. We even have the mirror (for the once a week I'm driving) and it doesn't help. My back seat is full of toys and it doesn't seem to work. The iPad is a last resort 😞. I wish they made it so you couldn't turn off the videos playing.

I dont want to give him an ipad or tablet because he likes to press evey thing on the screen and I dont want him to like turn it off the start screaming and i have to pull over and put it back on. Im planning on getting a mirror you put on the head rest so he can see im still there.
I got my daughter a Samsung Galaxy tab I only use Disney app and YouTube. but fisher price have a lot of good baby apps
My son is 5 months and hates being strapped down.....I like tiny adventures on YouTube for my baby boy he loves it
