Last appointment my OB said hes gonna start doing cervix checks....Ugh im not ready! Appointment isnt for 2 weeks and im nervous about it even now. Last cervix check I got at the ER was wayy too rough and hurt like hell. Hoping my regular ob will be more gentle! My last scheduled growth ultrasound is in 2 weeks as well. Theyll be deciding then whether or not they want to induce me. They said they will If baby is still really small. He only gained 3 ounces in two weeks and is now just 3 lbs 12 ounces but otherwise very healthy and active. Anyone know why he might not be growing or have a similar situation? My doctors just tell me they need to talk to each other first before they can give me any real answers. I do have Gestational diabetes but its managed through meds now. I even started gaining weight like they wanted since I was lower than normal. I gained 4 lbs in the two weeks when little man only gained 3oz. Not sure what I can do to help him gain weight..I eat nutritious foods, take my prenatals religiously, and im on meal shakes with a snack between every meal to help with calorie intake. Is there anything else I can do to help get some weight on him?

yes the er does it so rough it hurt when I walk buhh my on would check n it didn't hurt one bit

hmmmm. im not sure... he my have a placenta issue which is why they may wanna induce if the nutrients arent coming across to baby completely you sound lime you're doing everything right momma sometimes its out of our hands

youd this with GD he would pack on the pounds or so my ob said I dont have it but she said the GD babies tend to be bigger. our boy was 5.3 at 34 wks
