What do you mommas recommend for weight gain in a toddler? My son just had surgery and lost a lot of weight so i wanna help him gain some weight.

How much weight has everyone gained? I'm at 31lbs at 30 weeks.
I am only on my 2nd trimester and I gained so much weight! 😭 Can you mommas tell me what’s like a normal weight gain to be expected, please.

Don’t feel bad he will pack in the weight again especially once his eating picks back up

Yeah i know its just that before surgery happened he was already becoming a picky eater so i just wanna make sure he is getting enough.

He wasnt at first, but a few months after he turned 1 getting him to eat meats, potatoes.. He would eat his greens and his fruits but that was about it. Hes doing better now but sometimes getting him to eat any meat is still hard 😏

I sure pediasure gain and grow. And it helped my oldest a lot. He stopped gaining when he was 10mo. He stayed 20lbs for over a year. One can of it and hes now 26lbs!

Oh man ya that’s a lot of weight to loose poor guy. My son has always been smaller but sucks that he can’t get the high fats from cow milk and on top of that picky so I’m going
To try that and hope it puts on a pound or two. I also heard that! The one I bought has really good reviews and is healthy as can get!

I would try pediasure or the one I showed you, they make a milk one also. How much weight did he loose?

I heard pediasure has worse ingredients so i would most likely go for the pedia smart. He lost like 3-4 pounds

Yeah he is good with milk and everything. No he isnt. Dr said he can eat whatever he likes.

He was born with gastroschisis and he had to have a second surgery done because his tummy wasnt okay. Ive never given it to my daughter

So he’s 22 months right?. I would try pediasure but ask dr first to make sure he can have it I’m pretty sure they can after 1. My son is 19 months and is 20lbs he lost weight for A week due to a huge stomach bug going around he threw up for two days and the poops for 3 days it was horrible and on top of that he’s picky and has food allergies

He is 1 yr 10 months and he is probably 20 pounds right now because he didnt eat for a whole week at the hospital due to surgery.

@kiki221 not at all, we already aren't big sugar (sweets) people so a little extra sugar didn't hurt.
