I wonder how many group b strep moms actually have a natural child birth 🤔

@kedrababy, it was the best experience ever. I helped her through and pulled her out. My midwife didn't do a whole lot

I had my baby all natural no pain meds just had to get antibiotics put in every 4 hours. I didn't get any kind of rash and I didn't get the vitamin k or eye ointment for my baby and she is perfectly healthy. I even had a water birth

@b3autifulm3ss, I knew i had an allergic reaction! My doctor said it looked like chiggers. Ugh he is so terrible

@kedrababy, no rash I got hives from the antibiotics but that's just a rare reaction

@b3autifulm3ss, yep. Well I'm wondering how it'll go. I had a lot of problems when I went to the er. It's all getting better but I wonder if something will resurface and I have to induce

@kedrababy, it doesn't get worse or better it's just a bacteria that the momma carries... there may be other reason you need to be induced or have a csection but strep b is not one of them

@kedrababy, ive had two vaginal births and tested positive for strep b... antibiotics and it's not a big deal momma

I tested positive and just had antibiotics in my IV. I had an epidural but had my daughter vaginally.

I had it with all my baby's and had all natural births. you just need antibiotics thought the IV while giving birth, nothing bad or complicated

It's just a bacteria it doesn't affect the mother and the antibiotics is alls the baby needs :)

I think you just need antibiotics during delivery, right? So you can still go natural, as in no pain meds
