Omg no way! My girl was easy, my boy is a pain in the butt!! He'll be one next month and peed on the floor twice last month, just out of nowhere lol he eats ANYTHING he can find, he never runs out of energy ugh lol

You already got good advice from fruit loop but just wanted to say, 6 mos is still young so there may be accidents here and there, especially for boy puppies, but on the next few mos it should stop completely

at first my dog use to poop and pee in the house wen we leave so in the morning I put her out to pee in the afternoon I put her out to pee and at night before bed and wen we go to bed we lock her in her cage so she don't pee in the house till morning so I can take her out she got so use to it that she stop peeing and pooping in there she got use to the routine and now wen we leave we don't lock her in her cage no more

Is he neutered??? If you get them neutered that will help and he will stop marking his territory In the house...

Put his nose in it, tell him no in a stern voice, take him outside or put in the crate for a period of time.

my finances dog kept going in one particular area. we just sprinkled the carpets with black pepper in that spot and he stopped

@vicky810, definitely something small. I get some all natural ones that are soft and only about the size of a gummy bear. I split them in half so they arent getting too many calories but they get the positive reenforcement. both my dogs now sit by the door and make a fuss when they need to go out now because not only do they miss out on a treat if they have an accident but they miss out on approval and affection.

I have a rescue that came from harsh circumstances and was told he may never adjust. here we are a year later and he is completely normal. it just takes consistency. at the end of the day your dog just wants to please you and you have to show them how. make sure you also give obvious signs of approval when he goes pee outside. lots of "what a good dog!" And pats and a treat after. it will be well worth his while to pee outside and he won't want to go indoors any more!

lots of people will say to rub their nose in it or yell. what has proved most effective for the puppies I have raised is showing them the correct option. if you catch him in the act tell him "no" and take him straight outside. if you don't see him do it show it to him (they know what they did) and take them straight outside. it's about making what you expect of them clear. it's not just that you don't want pee in the house. you want the pee outside. works great for stubborn dogs.
