My son has been able to sit up unassisted since 5 months, BUT he can't pull himself up to sit up on his own. What can I do to help him? Or do I just let him slowly figure it out on his own?

@bonniesue that's what i do but i feel like it's made him lazy as to figuring out how to do it on his own though. he lays there and does crunches and stares at me like hello mom i want to get up now. @andrewsmommy i know all babies learn differently but i was asking to see how others did it to help me figure out ways to help him learn to sit up, if i can help him, i've tried to show him to use his arms to push himself up but he's silly about it.
Oh I read it wrong I thought he said hes 5 months. Mmmm ask his DR? If you're really concered about if but I would just let him figure it out on his own. My son started sitting up by 5 months
When my son was laying down i would put my fingers out and he'd use them to pull himself up. But I think one day he just understood on his own how to
@andrewsmommy he is 6 months. he sits up on his own perfectly, he just cant pull himself all the way up to sitting from lating down.
Let him figure it out. Maybe by 6 months he'll be sitting up.
Perhaps hold a toy out of his reach and pull it back slowly? When my son finally did it he was a little over 6 months and he did it to get my phone lol.
