It just depends some when pump the night before for the next day. I started pumping after 2 weeks. I pumped while my daughter was sleep during the day and while she slept at night. When you go back to work it is every two to three hours. You have keep your milk supply. Make sure your baby will take a bottle. Some breast fed babies don't like bottles.@vannah,

Start now. Pump after each feeding. It's normal for it to not be much Since you're also nursing. I think .5 to an oz is normal, anything additional is an over supply. If baby doesn't wake up at night try to pump then as well. If you're dedicated now you should have no issue with having milk saved. It's also helpful to write date and time you pumped on milk saver bags
