@ashley012000, if it was clear then that was likely when ovulation occurred. But an egg can only survive and remain viable for 24 hours, if that. So when you see the clear mucus you have to have sex that day to increase your chances of conceiving. Sperm lives for up to 5 days so if you had sex within those 6 days (the 5 days leading up to the day you saw the clear cervical mucus, and the 1 day after you saw it) you might have conceived.

some of it was clear like at one point it was clear @ainsleighsmumma

@ashley012000, that's normal cervical mucus. It's our vaginas natural way of cleaning itself out. When you ovulate your cervical mucus gets clear-ish and stretchy, that's one of the ways you can tell you are ovulating, or you can take ovulation tests. For a normal 28 day cycle (which means 28 days from the beginning of one period to the start of another) ovulation occurs on cycle day 14. For example, the day you start your period is cycle day 1, on cycle day 14 you should ovulate, then on cycle day 28 you should start your next period, unless you conceived.

@ashley012000, I agree with @ainsleighsmumma. Without ovulation, there isn't implantation or pregnancy. Your best bet is to BD every other day.

@ashley012000, well to get pregnant you have to have sex around the time of ovulation, if you don't have sex around that time you aren't going to get pregnant.

@ashley012000, semen consists of sperm & other fluids... There is absolutely no way to tell you're pregnant until after implantation occurs. You won't know if anything has been implanted until you're close to your period. Just because there is a lot of semen, doesn't mean it is sperm heavy.

@ashley012000, because sperm gets to where it needs to go within seconds, meaning it doesn't stay in your vagina, it searches to find the egg, if an egg has been released and is waiting to be fertilized. What came out was semen, which does contain sperm, but a man releases millions of sperm cells when he ejaculates, most of those will travel to the Fallopian tubes in search of an egg, some will die right at the beginning and leak out along with the semen, but you can't see the individual sperm cells, and what leaks out is called semen because it's the mixture of everything.

@ainsleighsmumma,
ashley·
ohhhh ok then how do you know for sure if sperm came out

@ashley012000, you can't see sperm, it's microscopic, as in you can only see it with a microscope. Semen is the mixture of all the fluids (including sperm) that a male ejaculates.

Sperm is microscopic, you cant feel it in your ovaries. And just because he ejaculates a lot really doesn't mean anything, because most of that isn't the sperm anyways it's just semen.
