@3boys4me, I was considering going to the e r but I wasn't sure if I could for that.. I've been putting this off far to long

I say your best bet is to either go to your ob and get a note saying the tooth needs to go and your ok to have work done or go to the e r and they can refer you to a dentist who will do it

@3boys4me, I believe I do I'm not 100 percent sure. I don't even care to lose the tooth it wouldn't be noticeable. I'd rather it be me losing a tooth than any other health risk

@xoashl3ylynnxo, sounds a lot like what I went through and unfortunately for me they couldn't save the tooth which sucks but it's a back tooth so you can't tell, do you get full dental while your preg in tote state ?? We do in md they cover everything your entire pregnancy which was a life saver since dental work is so damn expensive

@michelle2220, it's been about 6 months it's been here ugh I am so scared and this dentist office I go to keeps telling me to wait till after the baby. Idk where else to go 😫😫

infection in the mouth is not something to wait on. I know a few people that almost died from them bc it moved to their throat and it started closing up. they were hospitalized for weeks and one was on life support bc she let it get so bad that it seriously was so close to taking her life. I can't remember why she had to be on life support but it was a complication that happened

@3boys4me, right, this is the thing I had a root canal on a tooth near this lump ( the lump isn't on a specific tooth) and the tooth started hurting so I went to a dentist and they said my bite was messed up and they numbed me in the spot where this lump is. The fixed the bite but it stil hurt for a good hour or so after. Well ever since then this lump has been there. This was when I was 12 weeks pregnant at the dentist who preformed the original root canal.

Aw okay. I have a appointment tomorrow with my obgyn so I'm to try to get my dentist to take me with his approval to at least be looked at for this. I'm done googling it it's so scary. @2queenbee9

I had an infection in my gum for the most part of my pregnancy they kept giving me amoxicillin 500mg she said that's the strongest I could have and but about 2 weeks ago I finally had the tooth pulled since it kept coming back so it's definitely a good idea to at least have it looked at.... The infection is what's most dangerous

Not all antibiotics work to fight the same things. You may need a different one for that!

@2queenbee9, the crazy thing is my obgyn put me on a very strong antibiotic a few weeks ago for a possible bladder infection and it still stayed and I guess now is getting bigger

Well shit. they are gonna wait til you have an abscess or infection then you will them to be put on antibiotics.

Just bc the office I go to doesn't want to take me till after unless it's urgent and the lady doesn't let me explain what's going on @2queenbee9
