I'm a little disappointed in myself... I am no longer ebf my son. the fat content of my breastmilk isn't enough to satisfy him or help him gain weight. he has an intolerance to milk based formula so he's getting prosobee. I'm just glad he got 2 weeks ebf and now we're trying to fatten up my milk and get him to gain weight

I understand. I cried I wanted that bond so bad. I liked breastfeeding. He latched like a champ 30 minutes out of the womb and did wonderful. I didn't have any problems. It didn't hurt for me or anything and I wanted what was best. Thankfully he got 3 weeks of it and the colostrum. Important part is that we tried mama. I'm just thankful there's an alternative that suits his needs well and he can still thrive.

I had the same problem and my son is on prosobee now too.
I do the same thing. I breastfeed then give him 40 cc's of formula that's fortified with extra calories
