Alright ladies....I've had a terrible two days...went to the gynecologist again for bleeding. She tells me she's diagnosed me in February with PCOS. I looked at her furious. I have records from when the nurse called me in February stating that I did not have PCOS. So anyways. Dr put me on the pill and wants me to regulate my period and to lose some more weight before trying for a baby again. DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE PCOS??

yes I had given up though after all the med's failed I don't know how I got lucky this time because I have had 3 miscarriages before all this never thought I'd get pregnant and I did it's just a lot harder to get pregnant my doctor said unless you have the right help so maybe the med's took longer to work i don't know but we gave up and boom we're almost ready to pop

The first doctor I saw refused to help me due to my weight. So I switched doctors. My current doctor has no problem with us wanting to get pregnant. He recommended losing at least 10% of my body weight but he will do everything he can even if I don't. He confirmed my PCOS through blood work and ultrasound, then put me on medication for insulin resistance. I was diagnosed hypothyroid as well, and take medication for that. They had me do an ovulation kit and we found out I don't ovulate. They ran a semen analysis on my husband and found he has low motility. From there we've started Clomid to induce ovulation and I continue with my ovulation kits every cycle to find the right dose. We are still working on that part. When I do find my dose and ovulate, next step is IUI (insemination). My nurses recommended a healthy diet low in carbs, no drastic change in lifestyle as it would cause unneeded stress, and to do whatever supplementing I want as long as it doesn't interfere with the Clomid.

I was diagnosed in 2010. We have been TTC for 3 years.
