Sooo...how long did you REALLY wait to have sex?? Be honest. Not thinking about it just yet, but 6 weeks sounds SO long…

My boyfriend impatiently waited till after my six week checkup and I took my first birth control pill. I couldn't keep him away any longer. I honestly wanted nothing to do with sex after I had my daughter. Definitely use protection any time you do it after you have your child or you will get pregnant again. You are super fertile.

4.5 wks, vaginal birth no tearing

We waited 2 weeks. Vaginal birth, no tearing.

It's been 4weeks and still counting :/

Had sex when I was discharged from the hospital.

2.5 weeks, i had a small tear with 3 stitches. We went very slowly.

I've been wondering the same thing and since they say your still fertile did y'all use condoms or something

I didn't tear or have an episiotomy, and when I tried the day before my 6wk appt it hurt terribly! Granted, I bled until almost 7wks pp.

I had a C section and I waited 3 weeks. They say that it's best to wait until you stop bleeding because it means you're healed(just what I've heard) so I stopped bleeding at 2 and a half weeks and then went for it at 3 weeks pp😂

I had very little stitches and we did after about 3.5 weeks and it was fone but the second time it felt really weird and hurt a little. turns out my stitches tore.

I waited 4 weeks but definitely worth it but had to be easy for the longest time😂 but I did have 4 stitches that just dissolved from a vaginal birth, but yes most definitely worth it and didn't have any problems.

Like 3 weeks and I had an episiotomy, it was worth it and nothing ripped or anything lol

I had no tearing but 2 stitches... 6 weeks does sound long but me honestly I listened to my ob

I'm a first time mama so I felt better safe then sorry. I'm no obgyn doc . So to each their own ❤

7 weeks. I didn't wanna take any chances.. people do it all the time tho

I delivered vaginally, had one stitch, had sex at 4 weeks PP & was fine

I just tried being 6 weeks PP and we couldn't do it it hurt so bad, but I had stitches inside and outside.
