Had to go to the hospital last night, come to find out I have an abscess- on my butt bone. It is killing me today at work. Seems like the antibiotics are making it worse.

well, it started leaking this bright yellow pus that reeks tonight. i still got like 4 days left of antibiotics. what should I do? @haydensmommy5
I would put warm compresses on them. The hotter the better. I just did that several times a day. My doctor told me to take four Motrin for pain.
no it's just swollen and red. plus very painful. what did you use besides antibiotics? they didn't give me anything for pain @haydensmommy5
@kayla23, yes girl! you can get them every place really. I had them a couple of times. I usually have to have mine cut open and drained and take double antibiotics. Is yours draining?
I've never had one before. it hurts to sit or roll over in bed. I didn't even know you can get that on that area @haydensmommy5
that's the infection coming out, which is good. Keep taking your antibiotic. Let it drain. Wash with a mild soap like Dial. Make sure not to get the pus any place else on your body. And wash your hands!
