Just curious what other moms do? I went out for dinner last night and had two margaritas and I fed her pumped milk last night. Do I need to pump and dump before I give her breast again or is it ok to feed her?
@verobaby, that helps me feel better about it. I was worried all day that I never pumped and dumped. Stellie has been spitting up more today but it's probably due to her teething.🙂
no need to evee pump & dump. it will not make the alcohol leave your body faster. you can just wait until you no longer feel drunk. if you are uncomfortable you can pump & save like she said above or then dump it but like i said waiting is the only thing you can do to let alcohol leave your body. but a couple of drinks won't hurt baby.
if you can drive you can breast feed. there is a very small amount of alcohol that gets into milk so its usually not necessary to pump and dump unless you get totally trashed. if you do decide to pump and not feed her that milk save it and mark it as bath milk. using milk in a bath for baby every now and then is really too for their skin! I just found that out myself so I have a Gatorade bottle marked for if I ever feel the need to not save certain milk for any reason
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

Sooooo I bought 3 goats last night ???
So I took my meds at like 9pm last night I woke up at 2:45am with my breast killing me... begging that I took meds should I keep the milk I pumped??
I don't care what ppl think of me, but I'm seriously considering putting my baby up for adoption. I love her with all of heart, but doing this alone is hard. Every single night she just screams to the top of her lungs and I do everything to soothe her. I don't know what to do at all. I wish I had some kind of help. I don't have a single ounce of help. I don't know a single soul in Minnesota either.
Couldn’t post last night but Mahogany IS REAL!!!! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw her walk through that hallway
probably. plus their tummies are still sensitive. just like sometimes we get a little sick after we eat babies do too.
