if someone asked you to discribe labor how would you? to me it felt like my hips were breaking and my vagina and butt…

@coltroyalsmama1224 when my doctor broke my water it felt so good. like so much pressure released.

labor felt like terrible period cramps to me, at least with my first. I'll see if it's any different with our second in about a month! I didn't start to feel the urge to push until my midwife broke my water at 8cm.

@hellosweetie, @leonelsmom. I got induced at around 1:30pm then I went the bathroom at like 3:50pm I had a bowl movement then my contractions kicked in with full force I couldn't get off the toilet so they had to turn off the pitocin. I was 4 cm when nurse checked me before I went to bathroom when I came out the bathroom I was 6 cm so sat on ball but I kept feeling pressure so they had get back on bed but I couldn't get all the way on the bed because my contractions were coming so hard and fast like every 30 seconds because of the pitocin. I was 8 cm once I got on the bed they prepped the bed for delivery my doctor still wasn't at hospital yet. I was holding on to the side of bed because I keep feeling the urge to push but it was time yet. They told to breath through the contractions and not push because I would tear a lot if pushed before it was time then my water broke and nurse told me to go ahead and push. My daughter came out in just two pushes. My came after she was born to sew me up I had tore a little. My daughter was born at 4:24 pm

@hellosweetie dang, i couldnt have stopped myself from pushing because like @madilynn16 said its just a urge. i felt like as if i had no control over the baby or my body.

I actually thought the contractions hurt worse than pushing personally, I had VERY strong contractions though...and when I felt the urge to push it has only been about an hour since I arrived at the hospital, so the nurse thought I was only 5cm dilated at the most and told me to resist the urge and not push. I was experiencing the ejection reflex (my body was pushing her out whether I allowed it to or not lol) so it hurt sooo bad to try and hold it....by the time she finally checked me and was like OH, she's coming now, it felt amazing to let myself push...it was like a release! She was coming out FAST so the minute the doctor came in he numbed my perineum right before it ripped so I didn't feel the tearing right before she came out but I felt everything else....I was mad that he did that because I wanted it completely natural, I still count it as a natural birth I just didn't feel the rip at the last second...he told me afterwards it was starting to tear and he knew he would have to stitch it and didn't think it was a big deal since she was out in one more push anyways 😑

@madilynn16 dang you go mama, i got the epidural but it didnt work they mightve put it in wrong or something cause i wasn't numb at all i felt me rip i felt his head coming down it felt like little chambers inside my body every time he pushed more down the pain got worse.

It felt like really bad constipation cramps to me. With urge to push when you can't just yet. Then fire and pain in your vagina. I didn't have meds so I felt everything.

@babynessa hell yea agreed but i am glad i wasnt the only one who thought their vagina was on fire. i also ripped too so that could explain some fire pain lol.

@hellosweetie wow, good thing it went fast for you though. i dont think the contracts hurt it was the pushing. /.\ and him coming down

It felt like an earth quake from within, my entire body was in such intense pain like my bones were being broken from the inside....definitely as I was pushing it felt like I was shitting, it happened so dang fast for me though a lot of it is fuzzy......I was pumped with adrenalin and focused on the pain more than anything, I was in the zone! I had an all natural birth, I went from 4cm dilated at arrival to the hospital to baby OUT all in 1 1/2 hours 😱
