Finally pumped about 2 1/2 oz power pumping. I know that doesn't sound like anything but I haven't managed to ever pump more than 1 1/2 oz before so I'm feeling encouraged. Yesterday I only pumped 1 oz because Auggy wouldn't sleep and go long enough between feeds for me to really pump anything!! Just got in my brewers yeast and bought Gatorade today so we will see if that helps. I wonder why I pumped more today..

mom's who do that over produce. it can cause lots of problems with pain & lumps. the average is 2 to 4 oz. i used to over produced for a long time. i would have so many problems with discomfort. some moms also respond better to the pump than others. but you are on the right track. i suggest pumping at night you always have more milk than & once baby gets older & nurses less often it gets easier. staying super hydrated also makes a huge difference for me. also remember the oz you pump can also change from time of day & day to day so don't be discouraged if it isn't as much. my pumping oz became so unreliable after my son turned 6 months. sometimes id get 2 oz sometimes 4. depending on the day & time.
@verobaby Thanks, girl! I'm trying. I'm so jealous of mommas who get like 5 + oz after 30 minutes of pumping but I need to learn to be grateful for what I am managing to produce

ok ladys i need to know how to build up my milk i pump because my son wont latch and i can only get a oz to a oz and a half to come out of each boob some times 2 oz if im lucky i eat good drink plenty of water and pump every hour and my son is drinking 4 to 5 oz every 2 3 hours so can anyone help on how to get more milk
So I pumped 10 oz 5 oz from each breast is that good for having a two month old ???? And then 5 oz together after my morning pump Andy thoughts
So this Fenugreek and extra water def helped! I just got done with a feeding and bam! Pumped out 8 more oz!!!👍🏻😁😍
Rave!! 4 days pp and I pumped 5 oz and still have more left. I stopped pumping so there would be some left for the baby. Just wanted to pump some out so my husband could feed her later :)
