ant mom's have a baby with reflux??? how did you know... my daughter is so fussy and vomits her formula every now and then and spits up....she has her 1 month appt this week.
My daughter (now almost 1) had it really bad as a baby. She just kept spitting up pretty much every bottle. So the dr had me switch to enfamil ar (meant to help with spitting up) so I did and it helped it a little but she was still spitting up..so they put her on Zantac daily with the enfamil ar and that helped a lot! But wic wouldn't supply enfamil so they switched her to nutramigen which she did even better on! Also another tip my dr gave me, after she eats burp her of course but don't lay her flat down. Have her sitting up in a swing or car seat or I had a rock n play and they said that's perfect. So I always laid my daughter in that. But keep them in that for like 30 mins after eating to help them fully digest it. We took her off her medicine at 9 months and she's done great!
@mdomke22, I've seen her do the gag noise type thing... I'm gunna try more burps until her appt see if that helps but unfortunately I think she's got reflux :( well see what her dr says
My nephew had it really bad when he was little. my daughter spit up quite frequently but the reason we knew my nephew had it was because he'd make this face like he was disgusted and almost look like he was choking... he'd open his mouth real wide and make like a gag noise and it looked painful every time he made this face. my daughter just had a sensitive stomach and needed more frequent burps because she was a very gassy baby.
@abelsmama16, my baby girl has it coming out her nose and mouth.. I feel so bad...it just started a couple days ago.
thanks! I'll have to talk to my Dr about it...bc I really think that's what she has.
