I didn't want it at first A because that wasn't part of my plan and B the thought of a needle that big going in my spine scared me but it seriously wasn't bad at all. I didn't even know he did it already and I asked if he was done yet and he was like, I've been done, just putting the fluids in now😂

i had it done twice. both times i didn't feel anything. i did feel the contractions somewhat. but everyone is different. after baby is born they'll take it off, and you don't feel it. no pain afterwards or anything. depending on how much fluid you get, your feet will get swollen. but goes down after a few days. i gave birth 2 weeks ago and my right upper thigh is still kind of numb. that's about it.

i didn't want it done either. but being induced hurts a lot more than going into labor naturally.

I had a uti shortly after and have been having back pain but I've had issues with my back before I even had my son so I have a feeling it's from being pregnant.

Had the epidural with my first, didn't have any problems with it, I felt a pinch and this weird shock feeling but not bad. Went natural with this one, it wasn't easy but the quick recovery was totally worth it

I didn't feel anything from the needle when I had my epidural and afterwards I felt pretty amazing. only downfall was I felt contractions still somewhat on the left side in my hip area but they were manageable. no back pain or anything now and I'm 8 weeks postpartum.

I had horrible back pain from it and couldn't walk for two weeks bc it hurt so badly. I don't want it for this one bc of the experience I had. plus I wanna be able to walk around and I don't wanna be on my back when I deliver

Just the tiniest tiniest pinch and a little pressure it was seriously nothingggg. I expected so much worse but I was shocked at how I barely even felt it. Unfortunately it didn't take effect on me after a half hour or so but soon as it goes in it feels amazinggggggg. Immediate relief. I have awful back pain now though but I'm only a week post partum so we will see.

Actually getting it didn't really hurt much since they numb you beforehand. But the recovery time sucks :/ I gave birth over two years ago and I still get a pain there sometimes. Now with my daughter I went all natural and the recovery time was much quicker. Definitely going all natural again.
