At US today, Dr said our sweet baby has AV Canal Defect, a heart defect commonly associated w/Downs. We did an amnio then & there, but it takes 10 days for results. TEN! Maybe it's a good thing Hubby is currently deployed. i have a feeling a Bitch Storm is about to settle in for a few days.... like, 10.

update on heart Hello ladies. I asked for prayers the other day because I found out my lo has heart defects. I went to a specialist the other day and got an echocardiogram and he has serious av canal defects. I had an amnio test done today to make sure he doesn't have any severe chromosomal defects. I know he's going to need surgery soon after he's born so I'm trying to prepare for all of this. It's hard.

I had to read your other posts and see what else was going on. I hope you have a great, happy, and healthy pregnancy, and I hope the results come out good. Even if they don't go the way you hope for, it's just a new step in life and you will adjust as necessary. Good luck momma!
