Ladies,
It seems like today everyone is talking about how miserable they are toward the end of their pregnancies. You're feeling heavy and hot and just over it. Let's put all this conversation into a supportive blog post! 😁What advice do you have for moms in the third trimester? How did you survive it? What worked for you and what didn't?
Thanks,

Electric fans, blasting the AC, orange juice, ice water, staying active, and getting PLENTY of sleep has helped me. That and having an easy, sit-down hobby like crocheting that I can do when I get feeling worn out.
Also, a huge one. I see a lot of posts about "how can I help get my labor started" short answer, if your baby isn't ready you just can't. Have sex, bounce on a birthing ball, walk around... You can still do all that but unless your baby is good and ready it wont send you into labor unfortunately.
It sounds nutty but staying active helped me. I had my baby at 42.5 weeks so very very late so I was super uncomfortable but walking surprisingly helped me a lot. Stay VERY hydrated. Lots of water, it makes a huge difference. And having my boyfriend massage my back every night with a tennis ball really helped too
I've just entered third trimester this week, and as much as it has its challenges I'm really loving it! I love pregnancy over all. Such an incredible and creative event. I think it's all about attitude and what you focus more on. Focusing on what's hard is exhausting. Celebrate the miracles 😉
Get as much sleep as possible! I know it's hard and seems miserable but enjoy every moment because even tho you're happy your baby is finally in your arms I miss feeling the movements inside
For FTMs: Try to get as much sleep as you can. I know it can get uncomfortable, but find a way and just SLEEP, SLEEP, SLEEP. You will never have the same sleep ever again, you will be up every 2 hours 24/7.
I'm with @belle6414 I actually have decent days in my 3rd trimester, it's been a rollarcoaster, but i think the heartburn and indigestion is the worst and I drink gaviscon by the bottle like its a soft drink. Lots of healthy eating, walks, keep as positive as possible try to achieve at least one little thing a day to make you feel better. Rest a little don't feel bad about it. Don't pressure yourself to do too much, just let it go. Get support to help you if need be. Drink plenty, and pray keep the faith X
I was my happiest when I was in my third trimester😂
Pillows, pillows, pillows, and a yoga ball...!
I haven't had an issues yet. I stay inside as much as possibly but when I do venture out its not too bad.
don't rush being induced, because it will be miserable if baby and your body aren't ready for birth. baby will come where he/she and your body is ready.
At work I constantly ate ice instead of drinking water and constantly ate snacks
hot baths and showers , is so relaxing ! A support system , resting
Don't complain too much, because the people you hurt with your outbursts might be the same people you need when you're desperate for a shower, a 5-minute vreak, or just someone to talk to.
Find that perfect balance between staying active and taking it easy on yourself. Both are very important!
I worked through my third trimester. Didn't like sitting at home...BUT my advice is relax as much as you can. Enjoy the end of your pregnancy.
Take it as a blessing that you are in you're 3rd trimester. Some women didn't make it to their second trimester or first. Sleep a lot and go out as much as you can with your SO!
I slept a lot and took it easy! I was on limited activities so I had to but it helped a lot! Also don't get down on yourself if your not feeling up to doing much. Even if you relaxed all day and still need a break that's ok!! 💕
massages !! my SO was amazing at making sure I was relaxed and comfortable every night. he would rub all the knots and kinks out of my back every day and run warm baths for me. lots of water to drink and learning breathing techniques to help labor. pillow between the knees when sleeping was also a life saver !
I worked up until I gave birth. When I got home everyday my boyfriend would massage my back. I'd eat dinner then take a warm bath to relax. My pregnancy pillow helped a lot too. It made sleeping comfortable so I was less uncomfortable during the day
Lots of relaxing baths stress relief lots and lots and lots of water
drink lots of water and if you decide to walk outside wait until its cool and take lots of cool showers and prop those feet up 😊
stay hydrated and sleep as much as you can..because you will be up every 2-3hrsband invest in a pregnancy pillow
Tyelnol pm, hot showers, and my yoga ball helped me thru the discomforts and sleepless nights. Not looking forward to what's going to come after these next 6 weeks
i need alot of advice i am 32 weeks and i cry everystep i take. i never ever felt this way with my son, this pregnancyis so hard on me

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
AF due 29th, anyone else?
Hi all AF is due 29th Sept for me feels like forever away. Has anyone tested yet or when do you plan on testing x
NAPS! I cannot sleep more than 6-7 hours (interrupted by potty breaks, etc. of course) because my whole body just hurts after laying down too long. But a nap at lunch in my car in the shade and occasionally a quick nap before dinner in the evening keeps me rested. Weekends are or more substantial naps. I could not get nearly enough sleep without my naps!
