Not pregnancy related, but does anybody know how to dread hair and willing to help me do mine? I know how to do it, but I seriously don't want to do my whole head by myself.. especially the sectioning, I need help. Any takers?

honestly i'm 5 months post partum and the hair loss isn't letting up. i've read it doesn't stop for years, no matter what. i'm about to try some caffeine shampoo but quite truly i don't think it'll do much because of the hormones still. i have really healthy hair and i eat extraordinarily healthy and take vitamins and it's still bad.

damn :/ how long after would you recommend I wait to dread them? And I'm expecting them to look shitty for a while, but rather temporary than forever! lol @tiffanigypsy8

i had dreads a few years back, very skinny neat dreads that i did myself. i had a friend section my hair for me though, also they take a long time to mature so they will look like shit for a good 6 months lol. also post partum hair loss may not mix well with dreads, that might make it worse since there will be more weight on the scalp.

Youtube is how I learned how to do it, but I'm nervous to section it myself! I don't want it to look bad and I'm scared I'll mess up on that part. I want them at least semi neat and same size lol. @bentleysmomma

YouTube! I've watched tons of dreading videos on there and it's not too complicated to understand (-:
